Ok so the blogs arent really coherent from here on in.
this is straight from my notes i took wandering round on the walking tour before i got to cold and cbf’d pulling out my phone and writing more down. so its what i saw, and random facts…
Edit: i have added in links to wiki now, so you can click em and see what i was seeing and the info… if you cbf’d
>>Latin quarter, st micheals fountain , Notre Dame de Paris, new bridge -Pont Neuf ,that’s the oldest in town. The faces on the bridge are portraits of all the kings closest friends drunk at the party he threw. Bridge of art Pont des Arts. All the locks representing love, artists expressing themselves , violin, painters, the louve, the gardens. Egyptian Obelisk , Arch of Triumph. it was cold as I was only in a shirt and shorts while it was raining so I cbfd writing anything more. After the tour we had something to eat, went an saw the effil tower, then went to the louve, to see the Mona Lisa for free! Under 26, wewt. Wasn’t really impressive, was small had 200 other twats around it. So we wandered around the egyptian antiquities for ages. Was rather Impressive, and saw the wtf guy! Pics to be attached. Then decided to go find some wine, and watch the Eiffel tower do it’s sparkly thing. Stayed there for two hours, and headed back to the hostel for a beer. I was falling asleep so I went to bed:) The next day we went to the Palace of Versialles, and I wasted 25 euro… If I just had my fracking Uk passport on me it would have been free!!! Dammit. Any who’s, it was an impressive palace where king Louis the somethingth did all of his stuff, and had a rather lavish lifestyle, and on elegant huge garden. The thing was massive! The palace was symmetrical, for another reason…:/ I can’t remember google it. I should probably put wiki links on here to the places I go, as my memory is fuzzy on most of it… Fuck it. The palace is another impressive, crazy over the top history thing. That’s better. From there we Were pretty hungry so we stopped into macca’s and grabbed some lunch… With beer! How epic is that! Lunch and beer from macca’s. Left there and jumped on the French metro/underground. The thing is huge. And on time! Gg France. We walked out and to our left was the moulin rouge. *shrugs* a cabaret show for 160euro? I’d rather die. I fell asleep in the movie. Zzz zzz zzz. Anyway, walked that strip, being their red light district. Got nothing on amsterdam. Went up to the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur to try and get a view of the city on dusk but what we ran Into up the top was so much better. A wine festival!! Or something like that. So we joined the locals, ate some food, no snails or frogs legs. That’s just feral, striped shirt wearing, weird hat having stereotyped frenchys… I drew my line and said no. Where was i… Oh yer , Sam, Christina and I grabbed some wine and joined in the festivities, took in the amazing view from the wet steps we were sitting on, listening to all these french people ramble on about who knows what. Two American girls who were babysitting for work, overheard us speaking English and decided to join us, although christina could also speak fluent French, spoke to them in length … Probably about hair, or sam and I… Never the less we got chatting, GG, the girl that sam was chatting to, started getting cozy, and before much longer was grinding sam up against the fence with French lads chanting him on… Rather highlarious, well that ended in sam forking out 150euro for a hotel room. While I did the wingman, and kept kathrine, gg’s friend entertained with Christina chatting more in French and another few bottles of wine.they left and we went back to the hostel and slept. I almost missed the bus that morning too. The bus ride to Brugges was short yet funny…. Till next entry… Au revoir !!
